Description: The City of Molalla’s 1955 municipal complex was designed to house facilities for its city hall, fire station, police department, and library. The front tower with incised panel reading “Molalla City Hall” is the building’s most prominent element. Large banks of windows on the second story of the fire truck garage imbued a strong International Style character. First-story additions and shingled pent roofs on either side of the tower have diminished the integrity of the building’s original design.
