Description: A nice example of everyday modernism in downtown Silverton, this bank branch was originally associated with the Commercial Bank of Salem and designed by Salem firm Groom, Blanchard and Lamen. The design is elevated by the glulam beams and slightly upturned eaves that allow the building to spread over its site, almost appearing ready for flight.
